About this journey
Head west from Nairobi across the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara, home to some of the highest predator densities in Africa. Spend full days exploring the open savannah with an experienced driver-guide in a pop-up roof 4x4, tracking lion prides, cheetah and leopard, and — between July and October — the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration.

Itinerary
Day by day
Day 1Nairobi – Masai Mara
Morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. Drive through the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the escarpment viewpoint. Arrive in time for lunch at your camp, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Day 2Full Day in the Masai Mara
A full day exploring the reserve with a picnic lunch, following the wildlife. In season, head towards the Mara River for migration crossings. Return to camp for dinner by the fire.
Day 3Masai Mara – Nairobi
Early morning game drive at the reserve's most active hour. Breakfast at camp, then return to Nairobi with drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
